Our First Day at Epcot! 🚡 Test Track Update, Soarin & Disney Dining Plan ✨

Today was our first full day at Epcot and what a start to the trip it was! 🌐✨ Being in Jamaica at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort meant we were literally steps away from the Skyliner 🚡 — such a game-changer for getting into the park. After a quick Joffrey’s stop (coffee for me ☕, pain au chocolat for Teddy 🥐, and peach iced tea for Paige 🍑), we were through the International Gateway and ready to go!

First ride of the day was the newly updated Test Track 🚗💨 — so much smoother, sharper, and way more modern. We all loved it! Breakfast at Sunshine Seasons followed with two Quick Service meals on the Disney Dining Plan, saving us nearly $50 already 💳🙌. From there it was Soarin’, Moana’s Journey of Water 🌊, and a fun stop at Club Cool before starting our World Showcase loop.

We snacked in China 🇨🇳, Germany 🇩🇪, and the USA 🇺🇸 (the Tennessee Lemonade was incredible 🍋). Paige grabbed her favourite mochi and a cherry shaved ice in Japan 🇯🇵 — all covered on the plan too. Later, we took a break at the new CommuniCore Hall, where Teddy even managed an hour’s nap 😴, before jumping on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind 🎶 (only 50 minutes!).

Dinner was at Boatwright’s Dining Hall over at Port Orleans Riverside, and wow — the food was amazing! Huge portions, incredible flavours, and more value from the Dining Plan (over $200 worth of food covered 🤯). A perfect end to a packed first day of Disney magic. ✨
