The Getaway

We’re Jon & Gillian, a Los Angeles-based 🇨🇦 and 🇺🇸 couple who love Las Vegas and visit as often as our time and budget will allow. Why are a couple of introverts vlogging their Las Vegas experiences, you might ask? Well, we don't know exactly either! But what we do know is that we are having a ton of fun doing it, and we've met some fantastic friends along the way. We hope you'll enjoy hanging out with us as we gamble, eat, drink, and explore our way around Las Vegas.

Our Last 3 Days in Vegas! 🥂 July 2025

🎰✨ Our final three days in Las Vegas were a whirlwind of fun, friends, food, and so many cocktails!

🇺🇸 We kicked off the 4th of July with bagels from Wexler’s at Proper Eats in Aria. Then it was time for some slot play and then our favorite tradition: Gem Bar with the awesome Kenos, BJ @KenoKid and Kandi, and the cocktails were sure flowing. We also reunited with our dear Canadian friends Chris and Alex @thevegasdawgs 💕🇨🇦! Tons of fun, but one of us may have had a wee bit too much to drink … 😳

Day 3 started a little late 😵. After some sleepy slot play, we had a delicious light breakfast at Primrose, then made our way back to Gem Bar for more keno shenanigans, laughs with the Kenos and Frenchy, and we met new friends Matthew and Natalie! Later, we grabbed a quick bite at Moneyline, chased down a few slot wins (including Jon’s epic Pumpkin Head battle), and wrapped the night with super tasty meatballs at Le Polpette in Eataly. 🧡🎰

🍳 Our final morning in Vegas included a light breakfast at America in NYNY, a couple of pistachio martinis at Gem (because of course), some farewell keno and slots… and a required road trip stop at The Mad Greek on the way home.
