After exploring Chiang Mai, Thailand, it was time to head home. While booking flights, I noticed a layover in Seoul, South Korea—so I decided to extend the trip and stay for three nights before flying back to America. Another country. Another stamp in the passport.

But not every experience goes smoothly. Some are unforgettable for the wrong reasons. In this travel vlog, you’ll see my first raw 24 hours in Seoul:

🚕 Travel Tip: Taxis in Seoul (as a Foreigner)

Getting a taxi in Seoul as a foreigner can feel impossible. Many taxi drivers refuse to stop because they don’t speak English, and apps like Google Maps don’t work properly in South Korea. Even if you show them the map, they often can’t read it.

✅ Solution: Find a local Korean speaker who can translate where you want to go. Have them wave down a taxi for you. You’ll be surprised how quickly drivers stop when a local explains the destination.
