I’m a retired musician here in Las Vegas and I love this city. It is truly a unique town, noplace else like it on earth, and since I started this little YouTube channel, it has been my pleasure to share a locals-eye view of its attractions to all of you out there who have an interest. A side benefit of picking up the camera and venturing out is that we are discovering secrets and wonders as well, right along with you!

The STRAT, the SkyPod, the Arch, the Showgirls: Welcome to Vegas!

The STRAT...what started life wayyy back in 1979 as Bob Stupak's Vegas World, then morphed into the record-setting Stratosphere in the 1990s, has recently been brought into the 21st century courtesy of a complete makeover from its owners Golden Entertainment. Before we go inside, we take a look at the ultra-cool Las Vegas Gateway Arch out front, and the 50-foot showgirls on the corner, both signaling the official entrance into the City of Las Vegas.

We explore the fresh new casino, new restaurant offerings, a thrilling new attraction called Atomic Golf...and then OF COURSE we are zipping up one of the fastest elevators in the world, to the top of the STRAT tower! The SkyPod experience is exhilarating, from both floors 108 and 109, and we are taking you there, today. Let's go!
